Description :Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Environmental Engineer on a 18 month temporary basis within our Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) team at the Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC). This is an on-site position and will be based in Regina, SK.We operate a world-class refinery that utilizes cutting-edge technology to produce 130,000 barrels of refined petroleum products per day and an annual production capacity of 6.8 billion liters. As one of Canada\xe2\x80\x99s largest refineries we employ over 1,000 people.Do you have a passion for the environment? We are looking for someone who has experience with managing and carrying out environmental programs and activities to ensure that the Complex is operated in compliance with the applicable environmental regulations and ensure that all regulatory and permitting requirements are met.What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Manage and lead environmental programs and activities to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with internal stakeholders and environmental regulators.
• Ensure we are operating in compliance with environmental regulations by contributing to, coordinating, and carrying out environmental programs and activities, executing procedures for collection and collation of environmental controls and monitoring the operations.
• Act as an environmental subject matter expert for projects ensuring the compliance with environmental regulations.
• Ensure all environmental reporting is performed, as required by the City of Regina, Environment Canada, and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment.

• Have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) with a Professional Engineer designation.
• Have 5+ years of experience in environmental management, and regulatory & compliance experience.
