JLL is seeking an experienced, dynamic individual for the position of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager. This role will be accountable for executing the HSE Compliance Assurance Program strategy for a large Real Estate portfolio of office and retail properties across the Canada and the USA. As a member of a global team executing on a single vision, building strong, collaborative relationships with all parties is a foundational element of this position.

This position is fully remote.

What this job involves :

• Environmental lead on the account.
• Serve as delegated support for Health & Safety
• Contribute to the execution of our client\xe2\x80\x99s compliance strategy.
• Regulatory change monitoring and management; promote and raise awareness of the impact of emerging issues.
• Prepare and update all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
• Use JLL platforms to manage, track and report performance, integrating with colleagues globally
• Identify, assess and reduce risks and costs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Lead the implementation of an EH&S Regulatory Compliance Assurance Program for premises and assets aligning with regulations as applicable, including:

• Identification of premises and asset-specific regulations to be included in the monitoring and reporting program
• Implementation of ISO 14001 aligned documentation
• Compliance procedures, in collaboration with the global team
• Provide training to team members as appropriate or required
• Monitor and report on compliance to the account team and client, participating in audit procedures as required
• Participate in or lead EH&S incident investigations, root cause analysis, record-keeping and follow-up. Make recommendations for prevention based on the results of investigations.
• Identify HSE improvement initiatives

• A degree in Occupational Health and Safety or five or more years of experience in an EH&S role
• Experience in the implementation and management of EH&S Regulatory Compliance programs, Environmental programs and initiatives, preferably within the Commercial Real Estate industry.
• Data management proficiency, organizational skills, and a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including proven experience in training development and delivery
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
• Able to work independently in an exclusively remote work environment
