Job Description

Atlas Scaffolding is a shoring, formwork and scaffold supply company located in Surrey, serving BC's construction and building industry since 1996. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual that wants to work as a member of our shipping/receiving team.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and an ability to work equally as a team or independently. This entry-level role will assist shipping and receiving with data entry, photo collection, data organization and filing. A strong attention to detail and organizational skills are important to maintaining a well functioning department.

Be reliable, consistent, and punctual. Demonstrate teamwork and can work independently. Display effective problem-solving skills. Present above-average organizational skills. Be detail orientated with a high level of precision. Be able to communicate efficiently in both written and verbal English. Be a quick learner. Able to work outdoors at times in all weather conditions to aid in counting and photo collections, which require CSA approved footwear.

Job duties:

Accurately enter shipping/receiving data into computer program. Assist with equipment counts and relay to the office. Assist with photo collection. Provide general admin support to shipping/receiving. Maintain an organized and efficient office environment.

Qualifications and experience:

High school diploma - required Microsoft office and general computer skills - proficient Construction background or experience (an asset but not required) Scaffolding/shoring equipment knowledge (an asset but not required) Forklift certification (an asset but not required)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
