Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level Office Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in administration and financial services, with on-the-job training and opportunities to develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts receivable, including payment tracking and follow-ups by phone and email
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide account information in a professional and respectful manner
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized electronic records
- Support the personal loan process, including reviewing applications, assisting with pre-approvals, and following up with applicants
- Document customer interactions and payment arrangements using internal software
- Communicate with trustees regarding bankruptcies and consumer proposals, ensuring required documentation is completed and accounts are properly updated
What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information professionally
- Accounts receivable or office experience is an asset, but not required -- training is provided
