Job Description

Position Summary:

All our entry-level workers are trained in both light and heavy grinding. Grinders put the finishing touches on our products before being shipped to our customers. Utility Persons will perform various tasks such as digging, housekeeping, act as an assist and/or helper, etc. The ideal candidate must have ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs. repetitive tasks).

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate hand and power grinding tools to remove excess material, burrs, and sharp edges from metal castings.

- Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure compliance with company quality standards and specifications.

- Accurately complete required production and quality documentation, including inspection records and reports.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.

- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Schedule:

The position is full-time, 8hr shift with the schedule running from Monday to Friday. There is a 3-shift rotation that requires all employees to rotate into the next shift every two (2) weeks. The shifts are as follows (Each shift has a paid 15 min break and a 20 min paid meal break):

Dayshift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (B shift)

Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (A shift - starts Sunday night finishes Thursday night)

Afternoon/Evening Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm (C shift)
