Reporting to the Entrepreneurship Program Lead; the instructor is required to teach 9 hours of Entrepreneurship Skills curriculum using Participatory Learning Methods, with 3 hours of paid preparatory time. The instructor will follow the developed curriculum and guide 10-15 new immigrant women entrepreneurs through a 10-week cohort.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct needs-assessment and follow appropriate lessons and activities accordingly
Work with female clients from a variety of ethnicities and help them grow their entrepreneurship skills and foster engagement in various business development core learning areas
Facilitate and administer appropriate lessons and activities to meet the needs of the clients
Assist female entrepreneur clients and connect them to the available pool of coaches and mentors and follow up to ensure that they are getting the most from these connections
Work closely with each client to maintain motivation and a desire to find develop their businesses to their full capacity
Motivate and guide clients to participate in problem-solving and critical thinking.
Critique and evaluate client performance and provide feedback for achieving success
Record client attendance, prepare weekly management reports and update files when necessary
Demonstrate commitment to the mission, the goals, and the educational philosophy of TIES
Attend internal and external meetings of the organization
Perform other related duties requested by the supervisors

Education and Experience
The successful candidate will have a university degree in Education or Business Communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two years of teaching experience in a related field is also required. Experience in a not-for-profit organization would be considered an asset.
