. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in early childhood education and a strong understanding of best practices, curriculum development, and classroom management. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive instruction to adult learners aspiring to work in the early childhood field.
Key Responsibilities
Teach
and facilitate the Early Childhood Assistant curriculum in a classroom setting.
Create
a positive, supportive, and interactive learning environment.
Assess
student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain
accurate attendance and grade records.
Update
course materials and teaching methods to align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare
curriculum course content, lesson plans in powerpoints and audio-video formats
Mentor
students and assist them in preparing for their careers in early childhood education.
Qualifications
Minimum of a
Diploma or Degree
in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from a Canadian institution
Experience working in a licensed childcare or early learning setting for at least 4 years
Proven 2 years
teaching or training experience in a Canadian educational institution
Strong knowledge of
child development theories
, play-based learning, and current pedagogical approaches.
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
.
Familiarity with relevant provincial/state
licensing regulations
(e.g., CCEYA in Ontario, or similar).
Must be
passionate
about the ECE field and inspiring the next generation of educators.
