We are currently seeking a Enterprise Architecture Advisor to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).
In the role of Product Architect, you are responsible for leading identification and planning of product roadmaps including identification of upgrades, technical dependencies, and obsolescence to maintain the health of the products. In addition, the Product Architect will support resolution of complex problem records and related team challenges and provide oversight to ensure alignment with the Architecture team and Information Security.


Key Areas of Responsibility

• Provide support and feedback into product team budget planning and ideation.
• Create and drive Product Roadmaps
• Lead/support problem records that require technical decision making, architecture or are complex.
• Identification of non-standard requests.
• Assist in the planning and oversight of yearly disaster recovery tests and reports.
• Identification of strategies for products.
• Ensure Enterprise Architect is engaged where needed on various product-oriented Change Advisory boards.
• Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives
• Provide technical leadership for the evolving architectural capabilities of the entire solution as part of product and project delivery.
• Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards, as well as the design of standard software configurations.
• Work closely with the project or product teams to ensure execution of plans.

Professional Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as an Enterprise Architect with strong experience with enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Previous experience in a senior role with COTS products especially ERP, Asset Management, SaaS and Custom Developed Solutions.
• Enterprise-scale technical experience with public and private cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management required
• Experience in providing architecture considering dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on Cloud
• Experience in analyzing business requirements along with government regulations to develop a conceptual design
• Experience with Lean Portfolio Management facilitation at the program, portfolio and executive-level
• Expert in technologies, Client-Servers and Database related mission-critical business projects
• Mentor and provide knowledge training to team members, report design best practices, coding standards, etc.
• Must have significant experience in the application and data architecture domains.
• Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments.
• Leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills required, collaborative style with the ability to influence.
• Ability to effectively communicate abstract concepts and technical information to both non-technical and technical staff
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
• A passion for the user experience and their success.
• Flexible by nature, able to find a work-around when needed.
