Reporting to the Director, Cloud Platform Services, the Enterprise Architect resource will provide the planning, coordinating, development, documenting and delivery of multiple M365 and Cloud related projects and services; from the analysis phase through to the implementation phase. The Enterprise Architect may also be involved in managing other team members and providing architectural governance as required. This resource will have working knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure environments including general concepts of workstation/server hardware, software builds and push strategies, and a general understanding of line-of-business applications and architectures. The resource must have a sound understanding of IT Change and Communication Management and User Acceptance Testing frameworks.Responsibilities:

  • Guide and assist in enablement of business and technology programs and project plans, business cases, roadmaps and other supporting activities.
  • Guide and support business activity monitoring and business intelligence (analysis and reporting) activities.
  • Guide and support business, process, application and technology integration activities with other departments and external stakeholder groups.
  • Assist in defining governance and organization design to support new structures, processes, and approaches resulting from business and technology transformation.
  • Support internal and external stakeholder engagement workshops and meetings.
  • Support program management and change management leads in the successful delivery of business and technical initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to business and project teams that require architectural and technical support.
  • Provide tracking and reporting of time and status on all work as required.
Requirements:
  • University graduation-Computing Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Engineering (ENG), Management Information Systems (MIS) or related discipline & 6-yrs progressive related experience;2-yr diploma-CS, IT, ENG, MIS or related discipline & 8-yrs progressive related experience;1-yr certificate-CS, IT, ENG, MIS or related discipline & 9-yrs progressive related experience;10-yrs progressive related experience
  • Experience developing on cloud platforms and utilizing cloud services in development and in solutions.
  • Experience in defining technical architecture, building technical environments, supporting software development processes and initiatives, software configuration and database management.
  • Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across ministries or departments.
  • Experience in multiple architecture domains e.g. business, application, technology, data/information, security, and privacy.
  • Experience with process improvement, documentation and requirement gathering
  • Experience with triaging technical issues/problems and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation.
  • Experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing M365 products and services, either on-premises or in a cloud infrastructure-as-a-service environment.
  • Experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing Microsoft Power Platforms products and services, either on-premises or in a cloud infrastructure-as-a-service environment.
  • Experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting applications in an enterprise IT environment.
  • Experience in designing architecture to support remote work and/or field-based workers.
  • Experience in developing new IT services including the development of service definitions, service measurements, cost models, processes, implementation and operational hand over.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure architecture and the relationships among the components that make up an IT service from end-user devices to servers, networks, storage, applications and data.
  • Experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions.
  • Experience with IT service management, IT service management applications, IT application development and maintenance projects.
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing processes on large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Experience working within an agile development environment.
  • Perform IT and/or business-related analysis, diagnosis, problem-solving, use case or scenario development, communication, presentations, planning, estimating, and documentation.
