Must haves:
10+ years Technology Architect- Cloud and Azure
Experience with complex cloud identity and authentication schemes for internal and external access in high sensitivity environments

Description
Responsibilities: Develops, recommends, implements and manages the technical architecture (hardware, software, database and communications) which will be used for all or specific applications in a large, distributed cross-platform environment. Responsibilities also include the identification of relevant information and the determination of the environment, which will be used for development. General Skills: Leadership experience in the development and implementation of technical architectures at the specified experience level Extensive experience with at least three different platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, and communications protocols Experience with middleware and gateways Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development and implementation of applications Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments Knowledge and experience designing processes around ITIL and is able to guide others using this methodology Experience translating business requirements into reporting needs Experience preparing conceptual, logical and/or physical processes and data models Experience developing, recommending, implementing and managing technical architecture Experience in the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools and other software tools such as project management tools Awareness of emerging technologies, trends and directions Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) Desirable Skills: Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practice Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Content Management (Open Text ECM applications) Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
Experience and Skill Set Requirements Role:
Defining and creation of functional, technical and application models and specifications for systems development, analyze requirements and help project teams in solution and technical design.
Support the implementation of an OPP Azure cloud environment.
Advise and support implementation of specific cloud design requirements as needed.
Work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation in alignment with OPS standards.
Deliverables:
Creation of technical specifications for system(s) development
Design, implement and work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation.
Alignment with OPS standards
Business architecture, as well as traceability to solution logical and physical architectures
Ensure PIA, TRA, PEN TEST documents prepared.
Create, review, provide input and support of Enterprise Architecture artifacts for all checkpoints as required.
Create system and user interface design and modifications (data & screen) as required.
Review all test scenarios to ensure the requirements are met; establish traceability matrix to monitor output.
Ensure alignment and adherence to Ministry of Government Services processes and standards.
Support the testing team during system and UAT testing.
Undertake special assignments/sub-projects as assigned.
Create and validate business scenarios and use cases.
Produce visual depiction of use cases and process flows; ensure alignment with the program area and associated.
Participate in Knowledge transfer.
Skills and Knowledge:

Experience in modelling
Enterprise Cloud Architecture experience using Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
At least 5 years of experience

Other Notes and Timeline:
Contract duration is roughly six (6) months, from approximately Nov. 20, 2023, to May 31, 2024 with an optional extension for 3 months
