For more information about North Atlantic, please visit www.northatlantic.ca Position Overview The Enterprise Analyst, under the direction of the IT Manager, will be responsible for evaluating, validating, and maintaining enterprise systems that enhance business efficiency. The Enterprise Analyst will have strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders to understand technical problems and identify solutions. You must have a natural interest in emerging trends and influence on our industry. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, evaluating, documenting, and validating business requirements and translating them to actionable deliverables.
  • Support and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various enterprise applications supporting core firm-wide business operations.
  • Provides direct support to end users on enterprise application related issues while supporting the IT infrastructure, Project Management and Security teams in application deployments and upgrades.
  • Provide support to the end users on cloud-based and on-premises enterprise applications.
  • Manage and support operational upgrades and maintenance of enterprise applications supporting business operations.
  • Work with IT Team or vendor to monitor, troubleshoot and optimize enterprise application performance.
  • Perform manual software testing activities related to the development, upgrade and maintenance of enterprise applications.
  • Work with the Infrastructure (Server, Desktop, Cloud Services, and Network) team to deploy application platforms.
  • Coordinate and participate in testing activities.
  • Developing change management documentation for integrations of new systems within existing infrastructure.
  • Building and supporting data integrations.
  • Acting as an application SME, supporting projects related to enterprise application deployments and upgrades.
  • Work with the IT Security team to ensure enterprise applications adhere to security standards.
  • Establish and maintain constructive relationships with team members, business partners, subject matter experts and software vendors.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and artifacts for supported systems.
  • Maintain effective communication with management, team members and business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of work experience supporting firm wide applications and with direct support to end users within an organization.
  • Previous experience in the areas of project management, client relationship management and technical services delivery is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of security concepts, application high-availability and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze situations/problems systematically, coordinating with the other teams (Infrastructure, Architecture, Development, Security, and Project Management) to deliver effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Strong time management skills to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven analytical, creative problem solving and collaborative decision-making abilities.
