Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. Your love for animals and commitment to excellent customer service will help ensure that both pets and their owners have a positive experience at our daycare facility.

Responsibilities

Supervise and interact with dogs in playgroups to ensure their safety and well-being. Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by regularly cleaning play areas, kennels, and equipment. Feed and administer medications to dogs as needed, following specific instructions from pet owners. Monitor the behaviour of dogs and report any concerns or issues to management. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dogs' activities and needs. Assist with heavy lifting when moving dogs or cleaning supplies as required. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to dog behavior and care.

Requirements

A genuine love for dogs and experience working with them is preferred. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary, including moving large bags of dog food or equipment. Excellent observational skills to monitor dog behavior and identify potential issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$19.75 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
