Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in English language skills
Assess students' current proficiency and develop personalized learning plans
Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and writing techniques
Prepare engaging lessons, exercises, and learning materials
Support students with academic assignments, test preparation, or conversational practice
Track student progress and provide feedback to students and/or parents
Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment
Adjust teaching methods to meet diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
Stay updated with teaching strategies and language-learning trends
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
Strong command of English grammar and communication skills
Patience, creativity, and the ability to motivate learners
Familiarity with curriculum standards or ESL frameworks (e.g., CEFR, TOEFL, IELTS) is a plus
Ability to work with students of different ages and proficiency levels
