English Tutor (in Person)
Job Description
Inspiration Learning Center Markham is seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Tutor.
You will be:
- teaching English, ESL, reading, writing, literature based on Ontario Curriculum, for all grades in private or small group settings, at our tutoring center and online
- guiding students on how to read, write, and speak effectively
- teaching students through lectures and discussions
- assisting students with their homework from school
- assigning and correcting homework
A great candidate for this position should:
- have a strong grasp of the English language, a background in the English language (study/work), or have experience in related areas
- have a passion for the English language and all of its uses
- have effective interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication
- love working with kids and high school students
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 8 per week
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
