Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with excellent communication skills and experience working with children. This role is essential in providing personalized academic support to students, helping them achieve their educational goals and build confidence in their abilities.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards. Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding academic performance and areas for improvement. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' overall educational experience. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Experience

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students of various ages. Experience working with children in an educational setting, demonstrating patience and understanding. Classroom experience is a plus, showcasing the ability to manage diverse learning styles and needs. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically. Pay: $17.33-$22.00 per hour
