English And Math Tutor

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor to support students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 in English and Math. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, experienced in working with children, and capable of creating a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one or small group lessons in Math and English tailored to students' grade levels and individual needs Reinforce key concepts and help students with homework, reading comprehension, writing, arithmetic, and problem-solving Track student progress and communicate updates to parents when needed Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment Prepare basic teaching materials if necessary
Qualifications:
Experience tutoring or teaching students in Grades K-8 (in school or informal settings) Strong knowledge of Ontario elementary curriculum in Math and English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient, engaging, and adaptable teaching style Ability to manage time effectively and work independently Access to reliable transportation is an asset
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
