Consequently, we are looking for a full-time Engineer Technologist who would like to join our team. This position requires availability on typical office hours with overtime and flexibility needed on occasion to ensure adequate coverage into afternoon shift hours. Duties and Responsibilities
To demonstrate leadership, apply initiative, effectively communicate, and act professionally within a team-based environment.
To perform aspects of fabrication engineering work and be able to lead small or medium sized projects in an effective manner consistent with customer expectations.
Verifying customer purchase orders and customer requirements
Preparing fabrication burning and shop prints using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Preparing material take-offs, work instructions and work orders using Profit Key
Procure raw material from various vendors
Coordinate the shipping of raw material and finished projects with purchasing, vendors and customers
Maintain standard procedures for all engineered work
Liaising with customers, vendors, sales, production and quality teams
Working alternate hours and overtime when necessary
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Team Leader

Qualifications
Engineering Technologist certificate or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years\' experience with steel fabrications and processes
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Working knowledge of Profit Key software considered an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - email, word, excel
Technical knowledge of welding, steel fabrication, and the manufacturing process.
Blueprint reading skills required
Knowledge of weld symbols and geometric tolerancing
Knowledge of Anchor Danly Manufacturing processes considered an asset
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask efficiently and work in fast paced / team environment
