Candidate Specification

Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically in the engineering or construction industry. Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering complex engineering projects is required.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets effectively.

Solid understanding of engineering principles and processes related to the specific field of focus (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical). Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Experience in resolving conflicts and overcoming challenges.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project-related challenges proactively.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in project management software and tools. Familiarity with industry-specific software applications is a plus.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Due exciting project wins and continued growth, we have a need for Engineering Project Managers. As an Engineering Project Manager with a focus on project delivery, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing engineering projects within defined budgets, timelines, and quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, architects, and stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met and client expectations are exceeded.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budget allocation, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Identify project resource requirements and allocate them effectively, considering skills, availability, and budget constraints.

Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to minimize their impact.

Lead project execution activities, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow, adherence to project plans, and timely delivery of project milestones.

Implement quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and conform to industry standards.

Monitor project finances, track expenses, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.

Foster effective communication channels among team members and stakeholders. Prepare and deliver progress reports, project updates, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

Evaluate and manage project changes, including scope variations, timeline adjustments, and resource reallocations. Assess the impact of changes on project objectives and communicate effectively with all parties involved.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Ensure team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and project goals.

Conduct project evaluations upon completion, capturing lessons learned, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices for future projects.
