We are currently providing an opportunity for a well-rounded, technical minded, mechanically inclined, customer satisfaction focused professional to join our team in the position of Engineering Program Manager, Refurbishment. This position\'s responsibilities include developing, managing, maintaining, and improving the Asset Refurbishment Program across the Inland Group of Companies. In addition it will support the planning, management, and execution of refurbishment activities while providing personal leadership and engineering expertise to create positive and productive relationships with all internal and external parties to maximize performance and results.

About the Position
  • Promoting and adhering to our safety and respectful workplace culture and instilling this culture while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance with all employee-focused regulations and state and federal rules and regulations;
  • Develop and maintain the Inland Group Asset Refurbishment Program, including any necessary documentation, record keeping, and tracking systems;
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base for all various assets that may fall under the Program, including procedures, time and cost estimates, and resource planning strategies;
  • Oversee, direct, and participate in the refurbishment of Inland Group assets, including but not limited to:
  • Deicing Units, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Processing Equipment, and major components of larger assets;
  • Communicate frequently with local facility managers, staff, and Engineering and Maintenance Leadership on the progress of projects, development and improvement of Program deliverables, and quality of work of refurbishment activities;
  • Assist Director of Maintenance and Regional Maintenance Managers in managing Refurbishment Program related tasks affecting their various locations and equipment. Follow up with teams to outline progress on assigned tasks, providing regular updates to the Director of Maintenance on any concerns or new information, and be an active participant for the successful completion of team projects;
  • Promote good relations with suppliers and subcontractors that supply goods and services to the Inland Group of Companies. Work to reduce costs while ensuring that necessary parts, equipment, and supplies are on hand to support the Asset Refurbishment Program;
  • Provide direct technical support related to assets in operation as required;
  • Foster a team environment and create a \xe2\x80\x9cgroup culture\xe2\x80\x9d;
  • To accomplish any other tasks or projects that may, from time to time, be assigned by management.
Please Note: Approximately 20% to 35% of time will be spent traveling between Canada and United States of America.

Qualifications
  • Technical diploma or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical Engineering;
  • 5+ years of maintenance management, technical or field engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • A broad range of mechanical experience and knowledge, including but not limited to: Technical design or maintenance of deice trucks, GSE equipment, service vehicles, tractor/trailer, industrial processing equipment, industrial pumps and hoses, fuels, and fluids.
  • Experience in designing and implementing new programs and procedures;
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check. Position requires ability to be escorted to secure areas of airports.
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and driving record that meets Company insurance standards;
  • Valid passport with ability to acquire and maintain eligibility for international travel.
