Role Overview:
As a
Project Coordinator
, you'll play a pivotal role supporting project delivery from
design and engineering through construction and closeout
. Working closely with the
Project Manager
and various stakeholders, you'll ensure efficient communication, documentation, and tracking of all project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers in developing and maintaining project management documents (budgets, schedules, scope, plans).
Organize, compile, and maintain all project documentation to ensure completeness, accessibility, and accuracy.
Manage and track RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, design drawings, and other project correspondence using internal databases.
Coordinate permit submissions with subcontractors, owners, architects, and consultants.
Prepare and maintain document templates and structures for efficient project management.
Ensure current and complete drawing sets are available for all project staff.
Attend project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute them to stakeholders.
Assist with project invoicing, reporting, and closeout documentation.
Provide quarterly project analysis to support management's strategic planning.
Education & Experience:
Post-secondary
degree or diploma
in
Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
(equivalent experience considered).
Previous experience as a
Project Coordinator
or in a related role within
engineering consulting or construction
.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and
project control software
(e.g. MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
