As an Engineering Manager on Yelps Ad UX Platform team, youll work cross-functionally to collaborate with design, product, data science and many other teams across Yelp. You will lead, grow, and inspire a team of skilled engineers while sharing your passion for UI.Our Ad UX Platform team is dedicated to crafting and enhancing the user experience for advertising across Yelp. The engineers on this team work cross-platform to develop new, high-quality, and diverse ad formats that provide engaging ad products for advertisers, users, and Yelp. The work of this team has a direct impact on Yelps business and revenue.This opportunity requires you to be located in the Eastern time zone of Canada. • Lead, coach and mentor a team of engineers of all experience levels and develop the overall ability of the team.
• Keep the team motivated and productive by removing obstacles and optimizing team processes.
• Partner closely with engineering and product teams as well as members of Yelps executive team to deliver revenue growth.
• Collaborate with the team to craft a vision, set a roadmap/milestones and drive the teams success.

.What it takes to succeed:

• Previous experience as a people-focused/people-first manager.
• Ability to think strategically, balancing near term product benefits with longer term platform investments.
• Comfortable in your favorite modern programming language: Javascript, Python, Java, Objective-C, Swift, C++, etc.

What you\'ll get:

• Compensation range is $165,000-280,000 annually. Depending on your role and level, you may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
• This opportunity has the option to be fully remote in locations within Canadas Eastern time zones.
