Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Engineering Lab Tech to support our engineering team in the development, testing and validation of lighting products and sensors. This is a short-term 2 Month Contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with lab equipment, and a passion for problem-solving. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of our products

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the evaluation of new products. Perform and document electrical testing, installation, and sensor functions of products Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with new and existing products Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define technical requirements and solutions. Evaluate products as it relates to all safety standards. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve technical expertise and contribute to innovation. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab environment.

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in lighting industry as an engineer or lab tech Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience Excellent communications (verbal & written) Proficiency with lab equipment such as multimeters, thermal testers, and data acquisition systems Solutions oriented * Passionate about lighting industry
