Role Overview

As

Engineering Intern

, you will work closely with the Senior Engineer and ground control team to support surveying, ventilation, and ground control activities. This internship offers valuable exposure to real-world mining operations and technical challenges. This is a 12-16 month placement, starting in May 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Surveying & Mapping

: Assist in underground surveying and updating prints with production data.

Reporting & Analysis

: Participate in month-end reporting and seismic monitoring data analysis.

Ground Control

: Conduct underground inspections and assist in drafting secondary support prints.

Ventilation

: Support mine ventilation surveys and maintain accurate ventilation plans.

Other Duties

: Perform tasks related to ground control and other assigned responsibilities.

What You Bring to the Table

Completion of at least 2 years in a Mining Engineering or Mine Technologist program. Previous underground experience and Common Core modules are assets. High energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Deswik, Autocad, and Promine.

7x7 or 14x14 rotations Office, field, and underground environments
