Position:

We are currently seeking full-time Engineering Coordinator - Primary function is to interpret RFQ drawings and prepare BOM's for creating quotes.

Job Type:

Full-time, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities will include

Interpret customer drawings from RFQ and create bill of materials for the quotes team. Support supervisor, suppliers, and other departments to execute job assignments consisting of meeting specifications and performing calculations, analysis, and material and component selection. Create work instructions from customer drawings and provide technical support to production team leads and assemblers. Participate in cost studies, project time estimation, and technical proposals. Coordinate with vendors and/or customers to meet customer requirements. Create and revise drawings. Perform other engineering-related tasks as required i.e., analysis, bills of material creation, manufacturing support, and supplier contact. Use proper engineering criteria and drawing standards. Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the Company. Conduct duties consistent with the Company's quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing business Strong technical interpretation skills for design drawings and specifications is mandatory. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Advanced Excel skills required Strong computer skills working with MS Word and Outlook Excellent problem solving and communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Candidates who have worked in electrical/mechanical companies will be preferred Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
