Reporting to the Project Manager xe2x80x93 Oil Sands Major Projects, youxc2xb4ll be working with a team of dedicated employees and contractors across North America.During your work term, we will push you to be your best by exposing you to challenging projects and giving you the opportunity to take ownership of your work term. You will gain practical experience, develop technical skills to complement your academic learning, and gain exposure to future opportunities at our company. To succeed, youxe2x80x99ll need to cultivate and communicate a clear vision and set goals for yourself, whilst also juggling individual country specific targets.Some of the key responsibilities of the Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Co-op Student will be:
  • Support project execution, particularly the Long Lake Northwest Project;
  • Collaborate with project personnel on project planning, reporting and execution;
  • Develop and maintain project documentation (e.g. Project Execution Plan, Decision Records, Scopes of Work, Schedules, Operational Readiness, Meeting Minutes, etc.);
  • Facilitate and support Owner assurance processes, such as MOC, Operational Readiness Review, PSSR, Lessons Learned
  • Liaise with field contractors on daily activities;
  • Maintain maintenance and commissioning databases;
  • Collaborate with project personnel on C&SU
  • Field activities/exposure will include construction, commissioning, start-up and initial operations.
