Pro Builders Supply Ltd. operates Home Hardware Building Centres in Kelowna, BC; Osoyoos, BC; Penticton, BC; Canmore, AB; and Olds, AB, supporting the full range of consumer and contractor home improvement needs. Pro Builders Supply Ltd. is currently looking for an experienced Engineered Wood Products Designer / Contractor Sales Associate for our Penticton Home Hardware Building Centre location. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). The Engineered Wood Products Designer provides prompt courteous and efficient service to customers, advising them on appropriate building materials and related items and preparing quotations, invoices for shipping, and special orders as they relate to the estimating & design of trusses and engineered wood products for residential construction projects. Requirements:
- Knowledge and previous working experience with engineered wood product design and product specifications.
- 2-3 years customer service experience
- Knowledge of current industry trends and pricing, local building codes
- Design software (i.e. use of Autocad, or other visual design systems)
- Hardware, lumber & building materials industry knowledge
- Above & beyond customer service attitude
- Visual aptitude
- Design skills
- Excellent communication skills
