As a Data Engineer, you will assist in developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining Enterprise Data systems.
You will contribute to ensuring engineering excellence and continuous improvement within your team. Working closely with senior engineers, you will apply various data engineering techniques to support the organization's data initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of Enterprise Data Product's data quality and reliability.

Accountabilities

• Support with the design and implementation of scalable and robust Enterprise Data Products, using Data Foundation to ensure smooth data flow and minimal latency.
• Provide on-call support for production systems and resolve any data-related issues. Help monitor and optimize data pipelines to enhance performance and reliability, maturing operational runbooks and triaging incidents as they arise to maintain uninterrupted data processing.
• Collaborate with data product owners and other stakeholders to optimize data systems and uphold data security, quality, and governance practices.
• Engage in knowledge sharing activities, such as code reviews and documentation updates, to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.
• Perform detailed analysis of both structured and unstructured datasets using the latest technology.

Qualifications (Education and Experience)

• Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science).
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with Big Data, including change data capture. data quality, data lineage, etc.
• Solid programming skills with professional programming experience in AWS Data & Analytics context (EMR, Glue, Lakeformation, Airflow, PySpark, Trino, Hudi, Iceberg)
• AWS Certified Data & Analytics Speciality
