In this role you will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of our cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring robust security measures are in place, and maintaining compliance with Alberta Reliability Standards. This role requires a proactive approach to deploying and managing security technologies, with a focus on continuous improvement and organizational resilience.Responsibilities:Plan, design, and maintain control systems security infrastructureLead risk and vulnerability management program for OT environment, including implementation of control frameworks for supply chain and cyber security protectionsLead cyber incident investigation and response processesWork within change management programLiaise with the Security and Application specialists on the development and enhancement of OT security systems in order to meet applicable industry requirementsSupport EPC\xe2\x80\x99s ability to meet its ARS obligations with respect to Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standardsCreate and maintain technical processes and proceduresMonitor cyber security threats and advise on implications to the organizationStay current in the cyber and physical threat landscape in relation to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s Control System networkProvide operational security insights and direction to other groups and business units to ensure that activities and changes don\xe2\x80\x99t compromise the security of Control SystemCoordinate with and oversee vendor and partner resourcesEducation Required:BSc. in EngineeringP.Eng status with The Association of Professionals in Engineering and Geoscientists in Alberta (APEGA)Qualifications and Experience:Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with securing and operation of OT infrastructure, preference given to those with experience with an electrical utility or power engineering consulting firmKnowledge and understanding of Control System protocols (DNP3, Modbus, ICCP, etc.)Good working knowledge and experience with cyber security standards and frameworks including ARS CIP, NIST CSF and Mitre ATT&CKStrong TCP/IP networking skillsExperience with cyber incident response tools and digital forensicsExperience deploying and maintaining Public Key InfrastructureExperience administering Microsoft Active DirectoryExperience with network automation technologiesIn depth experience with firewall, router, and switch configuration and managementComprehensive understanding of OT security concepts, e.g. network monitoring, patching, vulnerability assessments, event management, and penetration testingDemonstrated understanding of cyber threat landscape and how attacks are prepared, investigated, and orchestratedCompetencies:Promotes a safety-first, innovative, and collaborative work cultureWorks collaboratively with peers and stakeholders, acting as a liaison between management and individual contributorsExcellent at organizing and documenting for clarity and precisionUnderstanding of the business implications of security decisions and actionsLeads through influence guiding teams with a clear vision and inspiring confidence in security measuresAbility to communicate technical security concepts to a non-technical audienceDemonstrated interest in, and commitment to, learning new technologies and staying ahead of security trends and threatsPromotes a safety-first, innovative, and collaborative work cultureDid we mention the ENMAX Advantage?We offer competitive compensation including a comprehensive flexible benefits program, non-downtown location that includes great building amenities such as free onsite fitness facility with programming geared to employees needs, onsite child care centre (upon availability, offered from our ENMAX Place location 141 \xe2\x80\x93 50 Ave. SE), free parking and much more.
