  • Update floor plan layouts with the use of AutoCad where new equipment is incorporated into existing or modified work cells
  • Update floor plant layout as well as identifying all electrical / and mechanical layouts and electrical breaker panels
  • Develop and maintain capital equipment lists, including new innovations, to facilitate CI activities to optimize operational costs, capacity and floor space.
  • Collect and source out proposals from manufacturers, suppliers and contractors for project tendering to management.
  • Create and/or assist others in defining technical scopes of work for capital equipment specifications where intent to purchase exists.
  • Develop \xe2\x80\x9cwhat-if\xe2\x80\x9d scenarios to maximize floor space utilization and optimize product flow.
  • Manage equipment installation projects.
  • Understanding the fundamentals of Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) to streamline each piece of equipment to ensure each group assumes responsibility.
  • Adhere to all Ontario ministry of labour and environment standards as well as occupational health & safety standards where applicable. (EG: CSA, TSSA, ESA, Certificate of Air, PSRs, building code etc.)
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives where needed. Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, process engineers and technicians to help implement cost savings.
  • Provide documentation and support on ISO environmental auditing.
  • Develop and maintain capital equipment lists, including new innovations, to facilitate CI activities to optimize operational costs, capacity and floor space.
  • Adhere to all Moore Packaging and departmental procedures as required.
  • Ensure and promote all health, safety environmental standards, ergonomic standards, safe operating procedures, good housekeeping practices, all safety issues conforming to the \xe2\x80\x9cOccupational Health and Safety Act\xe2\x80\x9d and the observance of protective equipment requirements at all times.
  • Any other reasonable duty required by management.
