Your responsibilities:

Perform SIL (Safety Integrity Level) validation calculations Draft Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) Prepare instrumentation and control quotes Create technical specifications for instruments and control valves Participate in P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) reviews Oversee the development of technical drawings Develop and execute test procedures Conduct site visits and inspections
What you bring:

Bachelor's degree in Automated Production Engineering or equivalent Member of a provincial Order of Engineers Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience
You're the right fit if you have:

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve issues efficiently Certification in Functional Safety (CFSP, CFSE, or TUV), and/or familiarity with IEC-61511 and ANSI/ISA84 standards Knowledge of industrial automation (an asset) Familiarity with PLC programming, HMIs, DCS, and safety systems (an asset) Understanding of electrical circuits and power distribution (an asset) Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
