We are hiring a Program Lead for our not-for-profit client. This is a key role within a busy department and will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, as well as overseeing a wide variety of projects and program initiatives.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This role will involve leading the team in several department programs, spearheading annual application processes, and supporting with program improvements. You will also conducting site visits to Partner locations all over the Lower Mainland, and gathering any feedback/concerns to bring back to the team.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The hours for this role are: Mondays \xe2\x80\x93 Fridays from 7am to 3pm. This role will be based out of Burnaby, and will involve local travel to partner locations in the Lower Mainland.

  • Leading the team to execute department programs
  • Planning and organizing bi-annual partner application process
  • Leading project activities such as website updates, social media highlights and document updates
  • Site visits to partner locations throughout the lower mainland
  • Supporting Manager with conflict resolution and policy accountability
  • Supporting Coordinators with major projects
  • Assisting Events team with Partner activities/events
  • Continuous program development and improvement
  • Conducting team meetings and one on one performance reviews
THE REQUIREMENTS
  • 3 years of experience in administration, customer service or program coordination
  • Post secondary education in social work, humanities, community development, food systems/security
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Previous experience in change management and conflict resolution
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to respond quickly when challenges arise
  • Experience with operational planning and strategy
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Reliable, responsible, self-motivated, and able to take initiative or be proactive, where appropriate
  • Professional, positive, can-do attitude
  • Clean BC Class 5 drivers license
COMPENSATION
  • $55,000 \xe2\x80\x93 $60,000 annual salary
  • 3 weeks\xe2\x80\x99 paid vacation, 10 sick days, 2 personal days, your birthday off!
