Our team consists of experts in program management and design, marketing, customer service, energy evaluations and building retrofits.Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Flexible - Contracting to Greensaver[Point of Contact?]: Manager, Advisor Performance Department Summary: Greensaver's Energy Evaluations Team is responsible for scheduling all audits for our energy conservation programs. We are the primary contact for all energy assessment scheduling inquiries, service issues or conflicts. We also provide exceptional customer service and manage the smooth day-to-day deployment of our internal and external advisors.If you're looking for a career that truly makes a positive difference, both for the environment and the people in our province who need it the most, you will feel right at home here.   • Conduct basic energy assessments in residential and commercial buildings following program protocols and standards.
  • Complete detailed and accurate data collection and measurements and submit accurate and complete reports in a timely manner.
  • Interact with homeowners, building managers, and tenants, answering questions regarding energy efficiency, conservation programs and other related topics.
  • Install energy savings measures such as LED light bulbs and other energy savings devices (i.e., power bars, block heater timers, low flow aerators, and pipe wrap, etc.), as applicable to the Conservation Program in which participation has been confirmed.
  • Adhere to assigned schedules and arrive on location in a timely manner.
  • Provide a high level of customer care and service.
  • Other duties as assigned, from time to time, by the Manager, Advisor Performance and/or Supervisor, Energy Evaluations
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Commitment to pursuing Registered Energy Advisor designation (training support available).
  • 1 to 2 Years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Entrepreneurial business management experience is preferred
  • Minimum High School Diploma (a post-secondary education will be considered an asset).
  • Construction/HVAC experience or training an asset
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to engage businesses in funded energy conservation opportunities with minimal supervision.
  • Professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, highly organized, attention to detail with a positive attitude and interest in the energy and environment sectors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and Web Based Applications with an aptitude to learn internal software and relevant applications such as HOT2000
  • Multilingual ability is considered an asset
Further Requirements and Qualifications
  • Business Registration required.
  • Completion of a criminal background check.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license, full G required.
  • Access to a personal vehicle as 35% regional travel is expected.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
