Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Endoscopy to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the endoscopy recovery room, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment and support throughout their recovery. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and nursing homes, and possess strong skills in patient care and medical office operations.

Duties

Provide direct patient care during endoscopic procedures and recovery, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations and interventions. Monitor patients' vital signs and health status before, during, and after procedures. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (Cerner). Educate patients and their families about the endoscopy process, potential risks, and post-procedure care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Perform laboratory tasks as needed, including phlebotomy for blood draws. Provide support for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong background in patient care Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
