Job Summary:
Quantitative Risk Control (QRC) is responsible for the management of enterprise-wide End User Computing (EUC) and Model risks associated with the Bank's development, deployment, and maintenance of quantitative processes. In order to manage these risks, we have developed and implemented a comprehensive framework across three lines of defense. As the second line of defense, we establish and maintains the EUC and Model risk management framework, including the independent testing of all EUCs, and management of associated risks in the aggregate at the enterprise level.You will report directly to the Head of EUC Control Testing and help manage QRCs EUC risk management and control testing related activities to support the EUC Risk Management Program.
Primary Accountabilities:
Communication:

  • Support and collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify problems and to clarify management objectives.
  • Support communication routines with offshore EUC testing resources to ensure potential testing delays/challenges are identified in a timely manner.
  • Provide training to EUC stakeholders.
  • End User Computing Policy Subject Matter Expert:
  • Serve as a Second Line of Defense EUC risk management liaison with First Line partners to ensure the EUC Risk Management Program is consistently applied.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of the EUC Risk Management Program
  • Respond to partner and audit inquiries related to the EUC Policy, Procedures, and other EUC Risk Management Program areas.
End User Computing Testing and Assessment:
  • Conduct independent second line testing on controls established by EUC Owners, and document results in an organized and clear manner
  • Perform quality control reviews on EUC testing results produced by offshore testing resources
  • Improve and execute processes to efficiently conduct EUC testing activities which includes the following responsibilities: Inform EUC Owners of requirements and testing logistical information, Gather EUC Owner documentation and provide to offshore EUC testing resources, Communicate findings identified through the testing process and address related EUC Owner inquiries.
  • Support EUC tool classification and inherent risk rating assessments.
  • Review EUC Owner issue remediation and related materials to determine if they are adequate to close the issue.

Technical Skills:
  • Superb interpersonal and organization skills
  • Advanced level MS Excel skills
  • You're an extraordinary teammate with a strong sense of urgency who values accountability, integrity, quality, teamwork and creativity.
Experience Required:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working within a financial services organization or consulting firm.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: Risk Management, Audit, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Control Testing, Compliance, or Regulatory Bank Supervision

Education Required:
  • A Bachelor's degree

Work Environment:
  • WFH/Office split
  • No travel is expected. If any does happen it would be less then 4 times a year.
