Girls Inc. Limestone is seeking one (1) new team member to supervise, support, and coordinate program facilitation and participant services within the Girls Inc. Limestone Employment Programs. Responsibilities are primarily based in the Girls Inc. Kingston classroom and throughout the KFL&A community. Regular travel to the Belleville classroom and the H&PE community will be required and travel compensation will be negotiated.

The Girls Inc. Employment Program Lead Coordinator serves as both a Program Coordinator and team lead, providing day-to-day supervision, guidance, crisis support, and logistical coordination while also directly facilitating program delivery. This enhanced role ensures clear communication, consistent practices across service areas, and high-quality participant experiences. The Program Lead models inclusive leadership, supports program success, and uphold the Girls Inc. philosophy and employment program goals.
In addition to leading staff and ensuring smooth daily operations, the Employment Program Lead maintains a participant caseload, supporting individuals as they work toward their employment and education goals through one-to-one guidance and group-based programming.
Job Duties
Team Support and Leadership
Act as the main point of contact for staff requiring day-to-day support, guidance, or troubleshooting.
Hold regular check-ins with team members to identify and resolve issues early.
Support the team in managing participant crises by offering real time assistance, resource guidance, and debriefing with staff.
Coordinate program logistics such as program calendar planning, facilitation coverage, and supply purchasing to support daily operations.
Liaise regularly with the Employment Program Manager regarding team needs, challenges, and emerging issues.
Program Coordination and Delivery
Develop targeted, solution-focused interventions to support your caseload of participants to success.
Provide motivation and guidance as participants address barriers to employment and education.
Coordinate and facilitate employment and life skills workshops.
Assist participants in securing work placements that support their goals.
Liaise with community partners and employers to foster positive placement opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Completed post-secondary degree or diploma in Social Work/Social Service Work, Behavioural Science, Behavioural Psychology, Addictions and Mental Health or another related field required.
Minimum of two (2) years in a supervisor or leadership role is required.
Successful completion of a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) check including a Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
Access to reliable transportation for travel to clients, community partners, and employment sites, and to transport supplies is required.
