As part of our Disability Employment Services program, we're hiring a passionate Employer Liaison to join our Richmond Hill team and help connect job seekers with meaningful opportunities through strategic employer partnerships.



The Employer Liaison plays a key role in identifying employment opportunities, supporting job matching and retention, and advocating for workplace accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Employer Engagement & Outreach

Build and maintain relationships with employers across various sectors. Promote the value of inclusive hiring and the benefits of employing individuals with disabilities. Conduct outreach activities such as site visits, presentations, and consultations with employers.

Job Development & Support

Identify employment opportunities aligned with participants' skills, interests, and goals. Collaborate with Employment Support Specialists and other team members to facilitate successful job matches. Customize job duties or develop specialized roles ("job carving") that align with participants' strengths, ensuring their time and talents are used meaningfully and productively. Provide onboarding support and ongoing consultation to employers to ensure sustainable employment outcomes. Support wage subsidies, workplace accommodations, and inclusive onboarding practices.

Program Administration & Collaboration

Maintain accurate documentation of employer contacts, wage subsidies (Brokered Incentives Agreements), and participant outcomes using EOIS/CaseFLO/FFAI. Participate in program evaluation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Attend team meetings, community events, and professional development sessions. Liaise with the Client Service Planning team and Employer Liaison Coordinator to update individual action plans and support strategies. Deliver services flexibly across all components of the Employment Services model as required.

Qualifications and Skills

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Social Services, Business, or a related field. Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, or employment services. Knowledge of job development, wage subsidies, employer incentives, and job retention strategies. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, youth, newcomers, and other equity-deserving groups. Strong organizational, time management, and goal-oriented skills. Proficiency in digital tools, platforms, research, and career development resources. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities. Strong facilitation, presentation, and one-on-one coaching skills. Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation This is an itinerant position, requiring regular travel within the community to provide direct support to participants and engage with employers. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or split shifts as needed. Bilingualism (English/French) or fluency in additional languages is considered an asset.
