About New Moon Psychotherapy

At New Moon, we do trauma therapy differently.

We're a thriving Toronto-based practice offering evidence-based treatment for PTSD, complex trauma, and sexual trauma. Our team is authentic, bright, and deeply committed to client healing -- no fluff, no colluding with avoidance, and no fragilizing trauma survivors.

Current In-Person Availability

Office space is currently available at the following times:

Monday: Daytime or Evening Friday: Evening Saturday: Evening Sunday: Daytime and Evening In October, additional space will be available during daytimes and evenings, Monday to Sunday
Access times:

Day-time access: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM Evening access: 3 PM - 9 PM

Minimum commitment:

Two in-person days/week (5 clients/day), including at least one evening or weekend day.

You're a Great Fit If You...

Are trained in EMDR, with additional training in EMDR 2.0 (asset) Have completed an EMDRIA-approved EMDR training (required) Use evidence-based approaches in trauma recovery Are also trained in CPT, IFS, or other structured trauma modalities (asset) Understand PTSD, complex trauma, and trauma-related dissociation deeply Believe, down to your core, that trauma recovery is possible Feel confident providing psychoeducation on trauma, including sexual trauma Have experience or interest in supporting partners/families of survivors Are affirming and informed in working with neurodivergent clients (e.g., ADHD, autism) Provide anti-oppressive, inclusive care across identities Value working in community with skilled, compassionate peers

Requirements

Completed Master's-level education (including practicum)

Registered and in good standing with CRPO or OCSWSSW Able to commit to at least two in-person days per week Willing to build a caseload of 15-30 sessions/week over time
