We need you at Pilothouse! We\'re a fast-growing digital marketing agency that manages tens of millions/mo in direct-response ad spend for awesome direct-to-consumer brands. Alongside our team of 100+ members spanning Media Buyers, Copywriters, Content Managers, Landing Page Developers, Content Creators, Email & SMS Coordinators, Comment Moderators, UGC & Influencer Managers, we need an Email Copywriter to support the Pilothouse Digital team in achieving aggressive growth goals for the agency. REQUIREMENTS: - Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma.
- Demonstrable talent for copywriting.
- 3 or more years of copywriting experience or demonstrable copywriting talent and relevant business and writing experience.
- Significant availability in the Pacific Time (PT) zone.
- Comfortable working with a remote team. ESSENTIAL QUALITIES: - Produce high-quality direct response copywriting for email and a variety of other direct response mediums
- Utilize copy best practices to create compelling advertising copy across multiple channels that meet client goals and objectives
- Write original, accurate, and engaging copy for landing pages and website development projects
- Possess a team-oriented approach to content and creative asset creation
- Demonstrate the ability to produce compelling emails for automated sequences and general broadcast
- Have the ability to create content for a variety of industries and purposes
- Develop a complete understanding of the clients that you write for and know their unique features and benefits
- Ensure adequate direction, scope and timeline are provided by the creative team for project completion; collaborate on adjustments needed at the project\xe2\x80\x99s start
- Adhere to brand guidelines and be able to write in various client styles and voices
- Research the client, prospects, competitors and other relevant information for copywriting purposes such as the ability to speak the customer\xe2\x80\x99s language is a way that is relatable and understandable THE DAY-TO-DAY - Communicate: Check-in, hang out, talk shop, and get inspired with the team via our Slack workspace
- Collaborate: Stay on top of current marketing and copy trends and pitch angles to the team
- Create: Work with the creative team via our ClickUp queue to write all types of compelling direct response copy: including presell pages, advertorials, ads, newsletters, and more for our roster of rockstar clients
