Job Description





We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial/Business Analyst to join our growing finance team. As a Financial/Business Analyst, you will support the financial planning and business analysis of our locally run company, Elias Management Group, by assisting with investment analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial statement review and analysis.


• Complete internal financial reporting, operational metrics tracking and KPI's.


• Analyze financial data and create report templates that support company projects.


• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis and make recommendations for improvements.


• Work closely with both the financial team and the business management team to ensure accurate financial reporting to external stakeholders and that project specific deliverables meet quality standards.


• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and make recommendations for improved optimization.


• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel/Power BI dashboards.


• Assist in the documentation of current state business process and develop Standard Operating Procedures.


• Provide support to a larger group of companies through metrics creation, reporting and operational process streamlining.


• Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities, due diligence, investment analysis and capital budgeting.


• Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets to ensure data integrity.


• Participate in financial analysis projects and provide insights to senior management.


• Assist in preparing presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management meetings.


• Assist with budgeting, month-end activities, internal audit/reconciliations, and cost variance analysis.


• Work effectively with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite and other company software.


• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude throughout all interactions; and


• Other work related to the position as assigned from time to time.




Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.


• Min. 2 yrs. professional experience


• Superb analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.


• Excellent in Microsoft Excel/Power BI and financial modeling.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
