is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part-time

Elementary Teacher/Tutor

to join our team. As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both personally and academically. We take pride in delivering results that matter to all of our students, and our teachers play a key role in this journey. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars' teaching methodology. Candidates must be confident teaching elementary school concepts up to grade 8 (

English and Math

). Ability to teach

French

Here's what we're looking for:

University graduates, including current Supply/Occasional Teachers. Candidates in Teachers College or university designation towards English, math and sciences are also encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with students is an asset. Excellent English oral and written skills. A passion to help students reach their potential. Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students. Legally authorized to work in Canada.
This is an in-person job. Apply only if you currently live in South Etobicoke, or a nearby area, and can commute to this location (778 The Queensway, Etobicoke).

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of Four shifts per week within our hours of operation below:

Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 8:00 pm
Saturdays, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
