Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. This role involves providing personalized instruction in various subjects, with a focus on Math, Reading/Writing needs. The Tutor will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping students build confidence and skills for academic success.
Duties
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Material is provided. Assist students with understanding complex concepts in Math or Language (Reading and Writing) Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Support students by implementing appropriate teaching methods Maintain a positive, encouraging attitude to motivate students and promote engagement
Requirements
Experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings Strong knowledge of math (JK - Grade 8) Prior classroom experience is preferred but not mandatory Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs Passion for education and helping students succeed Reliable, patient, and organized with a genuine enthusiasm for teaching
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
