As we continue to grow, Everest Academy is seeking an

OCT Certified Teachers

to fulfill various roles for the

2025-2026 school year

, including:

Elementary Homeroom Intermediate/Senior Mathematics Intermediate/Senior Social Sciences Intermediate/Senior English Guidance Counsellor/Student Support
Teacher to carry out their duties as assigned by the administrative team - Principal, Vice Principal(s), and/or General Manager in the following areas;

Curriculum and instruction Assessment and writing of report cards Assist with the development and implementation of critical school initiatives Parent and community engagement Student leadership and development School spirit activities Participate in team or department meetings Contribution to newsletter updates Communicate with the administrative team Reporting on and monitoring of critical initiatives Development with student recognition assemblies Assist with teacher duty roster ie. morning duty, and school events such as parent night, athletic events, etc. Create and organize fun/theme days for the Everest Community Assist with the Everest Holistic programming
Qualifications:

Ontario Teacher Certification (OCT)

Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and Growing Success documents Strong communication and collaborative skills Experience integrating technology into the learning environment to enhance the learning experience Passion for teaching and supporting extra-curricular activities

A background in athletics is considered an asset
