Job Description

Duncan Christian School is a diverse, multi-denominational Christian school located in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, midway between Victoria and Nanaimo. If you enjoy exploring the outdoors, you will never be bored in the Cowichan Valley. We currently serve approximately 400 students from preschool through Grade 12, including many indigenous families from Cowichan Tribes.

DCS seeks applicants for a part-time position teaching elementary French (approximately 40%) to begin as soon as possible. Experience or a willingness to be trained, in the AIM Language program, is an asset. There may be opportunities to grow this position with added teaching responsibilities.

We seek teachers who love to build relationships with youth and enjoy working together with colleagues, families, and young people to provide a supportive and welcoming school community for students from many backgrounds. Experience developing relationships with indigenous youth would be helpful. If you love Christ and have a passion for these areas, we would like to get to know you better.
