Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electronic systems and equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and testing tools such as ohmmeters. Perform routine maintenance on electronic devices to prevent future failures and extend equipment lifespan. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to install, adjust, and calibrate electronic components. Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot issues onsite, ensuring minimal downtime for clients or internal systems. Assist in the installation of computer hardware, networking components, and low voltage systems in various environments. Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately identify faults and implement effective solutions. Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and inventory documentation for all serviced equipment. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and share technical insights for continuous improvement.

Experience

Proven service technician experience working with electronic equipment in field service or repair roles. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc. Familiarity with computer hardware installation, troubleshooting computer networking issues, and low voltage wiring systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams with precision. Experience repairing electronic components using testing devices like ohmmeters and multimeters. Knowledge of equipment maintenance protocols to ensure safety standards are consistently met. Prior exposure to working with low voltage electrical systems and understanding of electrical safety procedures.
