This role will be operating out of our head office in Richmond, BC, and is an in-office role.
VALUE OF THIS ROLE
As an Electronics Manufacturing Technician, you will play a key role in assembling state-of-the-art Remote Guarding video surveillance products for our customers, both locally and internationally. You'll collaborate with a talented team, contributing to the design and development of innovative security solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your attention to detail will ensure the highest quality control standards are met, and with the mentorship of our Production Lead, you'll be actively involved in process improvements to enhance efficiency and support the delivery of cutting-edge products. Your work will directly impact the safety and security of our customers.
CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Assist in the design, development and testing of electrical and electronic components, equipment, and systems.
Assist in inspection, testing, adjusting and evaluation of incoming electrical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances.
Conduct life tests (burn-ins) on assemblies and record and analyze results.
Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications.
Carry out a limited range of technical functions in support of research in electrical and electronic engineering.
Operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
Assemble, test, and calibrate electrical or electronic security equipment based on technical manuals and written instructions, based on customer specifications.
Participate in process improvements to improve efficiency.
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards; further, notifying leadership of any safety ideas or concerns.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Education & Experience:
Post-secondary education in Electronics Manufacturing, Security Systems, or a related field (preferred*). Relevant hands-on experience in assembly, manufacturing, or technical work environments.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Good understanding of logistics and workflow processes.
Personal Attributes:
High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically.
Comfortable working in a hands-on, production-oriented environment.
