Our team at Novitech is growing, and we are looking for a skilled

Electronics Engineer

to contribute to the design and development of the next generation of In-Line Inspection (ILI) systems and their subsystems. This role will work collaboratively with various departments to design, test, and refine subsystems that are critical to the performance of Novitech's advanced ILI systems. This role requires technical expertise in embedded systems, control systems, and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:



Electronics:



Design and develop complex electronic subsystems for next-generation ILI systems Interface microcontrollers (uC) with power electronics to ensure robust and efficient system performance Develop and implement control systems, including PID loops and other feedback mechanisms Develop and execute testing and validation protocols to ensure system reliability and performance of electronic subsystems

Cross-Functional Coordination:



Collaborate with software, mechanical, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electronics subsystems into overall system designs Provide operational support as needed, troubleshooting and resolving issues across departments Participate in field trials, providing hands-on support to ensure systems meet operational standards

Required Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics design Proven expertise in microcontroller (uC) and FPGA design for embedded systems Experience in developing windows programs that interface to electronics designs Solid experience with schematic capture and PCB layout, ideally using PADS or similar tools Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technical environment Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills Willingness to travel across North America for field trials, system testing, and industry-related events
