Job description The duties to be performed in this position are as follows:
- Cable and harness assembly
- Electromechanical assembly
- Soldering of wires, connectors, and components
- Conducting in-process and final quality inspections as required
- Build to assembly drawings and/or Manufacturing/Process instructions, as required
- Meet production deadlines in accordance with the Mil-Aero delivery schedule
- Other responsibilities, as assigned.
- High School Completion or Equivalency
- Or more than 2 years experience in equivalent position
- Manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read, interpret and understand assembly drawings and wiring diagrams would be an asset
- Hand-soldering skills (preferably J-STD-001 or equivalent) would be an asset
- Mechanical assembly and use of hand tools
- WHMIS
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Criminal Record Check
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- French not required
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Dartmouth, NS B2Y4V9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
