THE OPPORTUNITY:
ARCX is looking for an
Electronic Technician and Tester
to help build, test and repair the next generation of advanced automation products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mechanical assembly of electronics products following documented methods and procedures.
Install, mount, fasten and align parts to assemblies and subassemblies.
Production testing of electronic products using automated and semi-automated test stations.
Examine and repair units for both Production and RMA processes.
Conduct re-assembly and final quality check and inspection of units.
Assist with packing and shipping of units to customers.
Assist with receiving and storage of parts and components.
Assist with inventory control.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in electronics assembly.
Comfortable with the use of tools used for assembly.
Excellent attention to detail and keen eye for precision work.
Highly disciplined with regard to record keeping using checklists and log book.
Able to work from verbal instructions for R&D Assembly of prototypes.
Able to perform basic troubleshooting for electronics products.
Familiar with and experience using multi-meter and microscope or loop.
Ability to work for long periods of time with small parts, wires, tools.
Highly motivated with good problem-solving skills.
Able to lift up to 35 pounds and move inventory when needed.
Intermediate computer skills. (Email, MS Office, Shared Drives, Web Admin, Etc.)
Communication in English is required.
Soldering and manual repair of electronic components.
Ability to replace/repair components on printed circuit boards & assemblies.
Experience with surface mount, thru-hole (SMT/TH) or mixed tech assemblies.
Ability to use MS Excel effectively.
Ability to troubleshoot electronics using oscilloscope and/or digital analyzer.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
