We design and manufacture electronic products under contract to our customers.

Electronic Technologist/Technician

This position is an ideal opportunity for an electronic technologist/technician who is interested in electronic manufacturing. The job offers a great deal of variety, and opportunities for decision making .

:

The work will include;

1. Testing circuit boards and carrying out final assembly of complete products

2. Ensuring that quality standards, budgets and delivery times are met

3. Setting up and taking down test and assembly lines for specific projects

4. Operating AOI machines and flying probe testers

5. Debugging and repairing defective boards

6. Taking part in our program of continuous improvement, by reviewing assembly procedures and helping to stream line them.

7. Participating in our lean manufacturing 5S program

Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills

Strong organizational and leadership skills

A post secondary education at a college level in electronics or electro-mechanics

We will provide additional training in the test and assembly procedures for each specific product

The following skills will be an asset.

IPC A 610 board inspection training

IPC 7711/7721 training

IPC J-STD 001 training

Experience with AOI and flying probe testers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
