eHealth EMR Project Manager
Salary:
$99,899 - $117,528 - $135,158 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract:
Temporary - Term contract until March 31, 2026
Hours:
37.5 hrs/wk Flexible schedule with 7.5 hour days e.g. 9am-4pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location:
Metro Vancouver office - Alberni office, on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Hybrid working in line with FNHA's flex work policy. (Hybrid/Remote - minimum 50% in the office).
About the role
As eHealth EMR Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing adoption of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and related technologies for First Nations primary care clinics and community health centres. Working with various stakeholders in a complex environment, collaborating with business units, clinical and technical teams to define project scopes and objectives, and building detailed work plans for the project. This is an agile project that adopts a hybrid approach to Project Management through the project lifecycle phases.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Education
A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Computer Science/Business/Health Informatics) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of recent direct Project Management experience in managing IT infrastructure and applications projects
Occupational Certification
Certificate in Project Management Institute's (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
Knowledge
Depth of knowledge of First Nations traditions and communication protocols.
Versed in the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) is required
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management methodology and best practices including agile/scrum, waterfall and hybrid
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Competencies
Effective leadership, consulting, consensus building, conflict resolution, and negotiation and team-building skills are an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a leader and a team player, including coaching project team members and managing project stakeholders, as well as taking direction from project sponsors and PMO Manager as required.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
